Grey Market, first shown at Chisenhale Art Place, London, 2016
Grey Market focuses on the verbal interactions that occur within street markets. Harlow embedded herself within the market for the run up to a performance event at Chisenhale Art Place. She working for stallholders in exchange for recording their daily conversations. These interactions informed the script for Grey Market, performed by Harlow and three market traders at Chisenhale Art Place. A film of this performance was intercut with daily market interactions between the traders involved in the project. This formed the final artwork.

Exchange Event, Bethnal Green Road Market. Harlow operated a stall, swapping printed bag editions (made in collaboration with members of the Old Ford Art Group and Chisenhale School Arts Award Club students) in return for market users recalling their memories of the market. These interactions informed the script for the Grey Market performance.
